Caught Being Good
The purpose of this program is to recognize overt acts of kindness and good deeds performed by students.
While students win by lottery, the lottery is not totally random and winners are not automatic. I prefer to have different students win each month, but can only choose from those nominated.
Students are nominated by submitting the student's name, grade, service or act performed, the submitter's name and the date.
Citizen of the Month
The purpose of this recognition program is to acknowledge the student who models good citizenship on a daily basis. It may be that a particular student is striving to correct his/her behavior and rewarding the effort is also appropriate when the student is succeeding.
A display in the lobby will be maintained all year for this program. Displayed will be the students' pictures each month. The names will remain on the scroll for the year. Once nominated, the student wins. Students can win only once during the year.
Each team is asked to nominate a total of THREE students each month. Teams: 6th, 7th, 8th, elective and support.
