Following is information regarding the computerized cash system used to purchase items in the cafeteria. If you need more information, please call the Food Service Department at 344-8428.
WHAT IS IT?
The computerized cash system allows students to establish an account by depositing money in any amount. The account is then accessed when the student scans their school I.D. card at the cash register. Money is automatically deducted for items purchased.
HOW TO ESTABLISH AN ACCOUNT?
The quickest way to open an account or add to an account is to bring the check or cash directly to the cashier at lunch time. You may also send the check, written to Northville Public Schools, to the Food Service office at Hillside Middle School, 775 North Center Street. Please be sure to include the student's name on the check.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
  • Students do not have to carry cash.
  • Time in the lunch line is greatly reduced.
  • The system can provide the student with a daily account balance.
  • An itemized account of purchases can be provided upon request.
