The Northville Council of PTAs has many initiatives and areas of interest some of which are:
Art Appreciation – create a learning environment for the children in the arts. Providing an opportunity for the children to experience first-hand the various artistic styles that have impacted our culture for years.
Junior Enrichment Series provide classroom and school-wide assemblies that enhance/augment curriculum instruction.
Legislative Action Network (LAN) keeps the public aware of pending legislative issues, and a resource for information impacting the health, education, and welfare of our children.
Parent Advisory Committee provides information and awareness to link special education and regular education while coordinating programs, events and legislation impacting our district.
Parent Awareness Committee supports and/or sponsors community-wide parent awareness events throughout the school year. Event information will be made available to all Northville schools and the community on an ongoing basis.
Reflections provides an opportunity for all children to submit their entries for recognition and awards. The children may submit entries for music, visual arts, literature,
photography, video production and dance
choreography. The entries will be considered for local, state, and national recognition.

Safe Homes provides guidelines to middle and high school parents to help them be aware of such issues as curfews, alcohol, and drug abuse, Internet use, spring break and other issues. It also provides parents the opportunity to sign a pledge to commit to safe home environments.
The Council funds many of these and other activities by the sale of the Northville Public School Calendar, published by the PTA/PTSA. This calendar is a wonderful resource for school event dates, school schedules, meeting dates and school personnel telephone numbers. Calendars are made available for sale at each school.
Thank you all for your continued support and efforts.
