In 2003-04, Northville High School completed the third year of a six-year cycle toward North Central Accreditation. At the onset of the process in 2001, the high school combined the Northville Central Association (NCA) Steering Committee and the School Improvement (SI) Team to form the NCA/SI Steering Committee. The committee identified four target goals.

1. All students will increase their personal responsibility to understand and plan their post-secondary opportunities.
2. All students will increase the amount and quality of their oral communication skills.
3. All students will gain and exhibit a better understanding of personal, local and global differences.
4. All students will enhance their ability to analyze and understand texts.

The committee will continue the implementation phase of the goals in the 2004-05 school year.
